The South Carolina Aquarium is one of the most visited attractions in Charleston, SC. The newest addition to its numerous exhibits is Penguin Planet. The South Carolina Aquarium is drawing attention to the fact that many penguin species are in peril. Of the17 species of penguins worldwide, 13 of them are declining in population and three species are already listed as endangered. It would be a shame to see these magnificent creatures disappear. Some of the things that endanger them are overfishing, oil spills, and climate change. Overfishing is depleating their food supply for their young. Climate change, warming ocean temperatures, causes the small fish and krill the penguins feed on to change their migration patterns and habitats. Visit the Aquarium to learn more about penguins and what we can do to ensure they will always be here. Meet Waddle, a Magellanic penguin or go online and view the Penguin Cam. This is a tour that comes highly recommended for individuals who want to experience Charleston in an informative and entertaining way, but uniquely different. The tour includes some of Charleston’s most fascinating pubs interlaced with tales of bootleggers, ghosts, revolutionaries, presidents, and pirates who caroused the very streets on which you will be walking. You will visit the historic taverns and former speakeasies of old Charleston, to the rooftop pubs and breweries overlooking the magnificent harbor of today's Charleston. Inside each unique pub you will be able to sit, relax, and have a beverage and some complimentary appetizers. The tour begins at the famous Tommy Condon's Irish Pub at 158 Church Street in the Historic District of Charleston. Tour times are 4pm and 7pm each day of the week. Tour lasts about two hours and reservations are required. Tour is for adults only and ID is required for obvious reasons. Relax, enjoy, and have fun. Vacation Rick Travel.

Music Farm In Charleston, SC-Music Lovers Hot Spot
Music Farm is a music venue in Charleston, South Carolina located at 32 Ann Street. The "original" Music Farm opened in April, 1991. From his experience as a musician and as a member of a band that had toured the Southeast, Kevin Wadley wanted a venue that focused on music, not just another nightclub. Wadley orginated the name and concept for Music Farm. Music Farm became a dynamic nightspot which quickly became known throughout the Southeast as "the place" to hear good music. Late September 2007 the Music Farm was purchased by John Ellison who is part owner of All In Entertainment. Several renovations were made to the club including the addition of a new sound and lighting system, and an expansion of the balcony. The club underwent a month of renovation and reopened on Oct 28th with The Avett Brothers. Music Farm is a hot spot for music lovers. Badfish, Halestorm, Switchfoot, and Colbie Caillat are just some of the names coming to Music Farm. Check All in Entertainment for dates.-Vacation Rick Travel.
